The 2025 World Rowing Championships are scheduled to take place from Sept 21 to 28 at the Shanghai Water Sports Center in Qingpu district. This marks the first time China will host this premier rowing event.

A total of 1,139 elite rowers and coaches from 53 countries and regions have confirmed their participation.

Ticket information

Tickets will be available for purchase starting at noon on Aug 15 via Damai platform. There are three types of tickets: VIP stands, regular stands, and standing tickets.

VIP stands, which include a private viewing area and hospitality services, are priced at 1,880 yuan (US$262.19). Regular stands are offered at 180 yuan and 380 yuan, while standing tickets are available for 80 yuan.

Transportation guide

Attendees can reach the venue via Metro Line 17 to the Oriental Land Station or by car, with temporary parking facilities provided nearby.

The organizing committee will also provide shuttle bus services from both the station and the parking areas.

Tourism activities

Beyond the competitions, the venue will feature a diverse selection of culinary options along the shore and a variety of rowing experience activities. Limited edition World Rowing Championships merchandise will be available for purchase on-site.
