International visitors explored Huaxin Town in Qingpu District as part of the "West in Wonderland: Family Escape to Huaxin" event, during which the "Voyage in HUAXIN" brand was launched.

The communication brand represents a unique and in-depth exploration of Huaxin.

Huaxin's initiative aims to enhance its identity as a transport hub and demonstrate its cultural and economic vitality globally.

The foreign visitors checked out rural revitalization, intangible cultural heritage, urban planning and industrial development, and experienced "from field flowers to smart logistics and the vitality of local life."

They explored the Fengxi urban renewal project and participated in a traditional intangible cultural heritage event. They chose their favorite patterns and characters, evenly applied ink on flattened paper, and gently rubbed to create exquisite intangible cultural heritage works.

They attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 Shanghai Huaxin Hongqiao Flower Culture and Tourism Festival and the first Flower Valley's Wonderful Night Music Festival, strolled through a heritage fair, and enjoyed authentic local food in Yangjiazhuang Village, a model for rural revitalization.

"This is the first opportunity to get out, and everything is incredible," said Kate Melo, who arrived in Shanghai from the United States about two months ago. "It is a great place with all of the natural side, and it's a very quick ride from downtown.

"I loved the town plan, which was gorgeous and thoughtfully designed from preschool to shopping. Another view of China and Shanghai is here. I would recommend Huaxin to outdoor enthusiasts – it has a lot to offer," she added.

"I believe Huaxin presents numerous opportunities for the future, and it holds great promise," said Ole Wangensteen Eidskrem from Norway. "The environment here is truly remarkable."
