The International Import Flower Expo Forum and Trade Show recently opened at Shanghai Hongqiao Flower Valley, focusing on high-value-added flower varieties trade, global partnership network building, and digital empowerment.

The event aims to create the world's first four-dimensional international flower import-export trade hub integrating trade, germplasm resources, digital technology, and services.

During the opening ceremony, the Global Flower—Shanghai Flower Industry Import-Export In-depth Service Center was inaugurated. Its "Global Flower" service platform, an AI-driven vertical portal for the cross-border flower industry, holds 17 software copyright patents and integrates resources from 249 global service providers and service stations in countries such as the Netherlands and Kenya.

Leveraging artificial intelligence, the platform can interpret target countries' quarantine policies and consumption trends in real time, precisely matching services from seedlings to cold-chain logistics. It provides end-to-end support for China's flower market to "buy globally and sell globally," serving as a digital bridge connecting China's flower industry with the global market.

On site, the "Global Flower" service platform signed agreements with multiple domestic and international companies to jointly build a service ecosystem for flower exports, marking the transformation of China's flower cross-border trade from traditional models to digital and systematic approaches.

Additionally, a cooperation agreementwas signedfor the Shanghai Hongqiao Flower Valley International Flower Auction Center. Leveraging the geographical advantages of Shanghai Hongqiao Flower Valley and integrating high-quality flower resources from Yunnan, the project will develop modern facilities including a digital auction hall, cold-chain storage center, and quality inspection center.

It aims to establish a modern flower trading hub integrating auction transactions, cold-chain logistics, and digital platforms. Upon completion, it is expected to become the largest professional flower auction market in the Yangtze River Delta region, with an estimated annual transaction value reaching tens of billions of yuan.
