New life science hub completes construction in Qingpu Release time:January 13,2026

The DNE Qingpu Life Science Industrial Park, a key project of the district, has been completed, expected to inject strong impetus into the life science industry across the Yangtze River Delta region.

Spanning 145 mu (9.67 hectares) with a total floor area of about 216,200 square meters, the park consists of 13 factory buildings, featuring multi-story industrial structures of four-to-six floors. Each floor ranges from 2,500 to 5,700 square meters, according to Shen Yanbing, the operations management head for the park.

"Whether it's floor height, load-bearing capacity, or spatial length-to-width ratios, every aspect has been custom-designed to meet the production line planning needs of the life science industry," Shen said. "The spaces can also be flexibly subdivided or combined based on actual enterprise requirements, accommodating diverse needs such as headquarters offices, R&D labs, and manufacturing bases."

The project's core competitiveness is closely tied to its exceptional location. Situated in the West Hongqiao area within the core Yangtze River Delta region, the park is adjacent to the Biosparc in Suzhou to the west and near the Zhangjiang Life Science Industry Belt to the east. It is close to the Qingpu New City Station on Metro Line 17 and only 17 kilometers from Hongqiao International Airport.

The project was invested and developed by Shanghai Dongcheng Linrui Life Technology Co Ltd, a subsidiary of the leading new economy infrastructure investor and developer, DNE Group.

Leveraging the group's resources and its strengths in biopharmaceutical industry investments, the industrial park aims to provide comprehensive industrial chain support for enterprises. Focusing on the broader health industry, it plans to attract companies in fields such as biopharmaceuticals, smart healthcare, high-end medical device manufacturing, and intelligent manufacturing, striving to build a top-tier biopharmaceutical base that integrates "R&D + manufacturing + services."
