Foreign trade data shows that Qingpu has become one of Shanghai's most dynamic outward‑looking economic hubs and a bridgehead for cross‑border e‑commerce in the Yangtze River Delta region. In 2025, the district's cross‑border e‑commerce import and export volume reached 11.82 billion yuan (US$1.74billion), ranking second in the city and registering a year‑on‑year surge of 108.1percent.
