Former Residence of Chen Yun Release time:November 28,2023

Lian Tang Town is a typical water town in the south of Changjiang River. The ancient bridges, old streets, houses, rivers, boats and stones form a peaceful and calm picture of a water town. This is where the Former Residence of Chen Yun and Qingpu Revolution History Museum is located. It is adjacent to the Shihe River in the north and Xitang Port in the south, covering an area of 52 Mu. The Former Residence of Chen Yun and Qingpu Revolution History Museum is a presentation of the glorious life of the great man and an organic combination of politics, idealism and art.

The Former Residence of Chen Yun and Qingpu Revolution History Museum was built and open to the public on June 6, 2000 and former President Jiang Zemin wrote its name. The code of conduct that "books and authority are not everything, the actual fact is most important" has been educating every visitor. In June 2001, the Former Residence of Chen Yun and Qingpu Revolution History Museum was named by Central Propaganda Department as "national patriotism education demonstration base". The building presents both a Jiangnan style and the features of a modern memorial museum, simple but solemn. The four exhibition halls in the first and second floors display the pictures, works and articles in a chronological order that present the glorious life of Chen Yun. The Museum invites visitors for free from March 10, 2008 and visitors can collect tickets at the Visitors Center and visit the Museum.
