Brief introduction: Western International School of Shanghai (WISS) is the only school in Shanghai offering all three International Baccalaureate(IB) programmes(PYP,MYP,DP).  The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. WISS is renowned for the Chinese programme offered. It features Chinese as a First Language (CFL) and Chinese as an Additional Language (CAL).

Shanghai German School

Shanghai German School was established in 1995 by School Parents Council. It is a private school.

From the year of 2007 to the year of 2008, there are overall 850 students in both our two campus.

In the Puxi European Campus, we provide students with diversified curriculum ranging from kindergarten to the grade twelve.

All lessons are taught by German teachers authorized by German

national teaching standard. Furthermore, we draw up our educational plans according to the German Teaching Standards which has been recognized by both German kinder garden teachers and Germany education centers.

So the entrance of Shanghai German School requires sufficient German language skills. The Chinese government generally will not allow Chinese students go to our school.

Shanghai German School is a full-time school. From 8 am to 5 pm, we offer extra-curricular activities and home-work aiding lessons apart from regular lessons so as to meet the demands of all students.

Shanghai German School constitutes a foreign German school that has been recognized by the German government, which means all the transcripts and diplomas are equivalent to those which has been acquired within Germany.

Shanghai French School

Built in 1995, Shanghai France School now contains more than 1,000 students from kindergarten to grade three of high school.

We mainly enroll French students and French speaking students who come from French education system.

Moreover, our school also accepts other foreign students.
