The Qingpu District Sports and Cultural Activity Center, located at 130 Huijin Road, Qingpu District, officially opened on Saturday.

The center covers an area of 87 mu with a floor area of 30,300 square meters, housing multiple indoor and outdoor sports facilities including basketball, soccer, tennis, rock climbing, roller skating, a children's playground and kayaking. Additionally, the center also features nearly 4,000 square meters of auxiliary facilities.

During the opening ceremony, based on 557 submissions from netizens nationwide, the venue at the Qingpu District Sports and Cultural Activity Center was officially named "Qingpu Cube Sports Center."

It is reported that from March 10 to April 1, the center will gradually conduct free trial runs open to the public for areas such as the basketball court, soccer field, tennis court, children's playground and fitness trails.
