Star Waka Qingpu Nanmen Sports Park has officially begun trial operation. This comprehensive sports park, which features football fields, basketball courts, badminton courts and tennis courts, not only brings high-standard sports facilities to the surrounding residents but also injects more youthful vigor into the development of Qingpu New Town.

The sports park is located within Zone 16, Lane 4501, Huqingping Highway, with a total area exceeding 20,000 square meters. It includes one standard 11-a-side football field, two 5-a-side football fields, two standard full basketball courts, twelve standard badminton courts and two standard tennis courts.

In addition, the sports park also provides 230 parking spaces. "In addition to high-standard hardware facilities, the sports park also offers 24 fast-charging piles, a water bar, a car wash area and other supporting facilities, providing Qingpu residents with a one-stop destination for sports and leisure," said Chen Chao, deputy general manager of Shanghai Waka Sports Culture Development Co Ltd.

In the future, the sports park plans to provide public welfare opening hours for citizens every day and will host youth football invitation tournaments, as well as badminton, basketball and tennis series invitation tournaments, covering the Yangtze River Delta region.
