At the Xun Meng Yuan Scenic Area in Qingpu District, the poppy flowers are in full bloom, creating a scene brimming with the vitality of spring.

The blooming poppies stretch out like a huge oil painting. Strolling along the winding paths in the sea of flowers feels like stepping into a fairy-tale world.

"Poppies are highly ornamental flowers with a long blooming period that can last for over 35 days. We have planted 20 mu here, mixing imported and domestic seeds together to produce a more diverse range of colors in the blossoms, making it the best viewing period currently," said Qiu Guangwei, the general manager of Xun Meng Yuan.

As a farm themed around flowers, Xun Meng Yuan has planted sunflowers, galsang, lavender, and other ornamental plants across 400 mu of flower fields, which will bloom successively in April and May, reaching their peak flowering period.

"We are currently actively engaged in flower care and field management, and we expect to present a purple flower sea composed of lavender and vervain, as well as a golden flower sea composed of sunflowers by the end of April," Qiu said.
