The core landscape belt of Gongyuan Road E., covering an area of 100,000 square meters, has been opened to the public, bringing new sightseeing and leisure enjoyment to citizens.

Gongyuan Road E. is one of the important gateway roads in Qingpu District. In response to the requirements of park city construction, Qingpu District has launched the construction of the core landscape belt of Gongyuan Road E., creating an urban public green space that integrates functions of road greening protection, citizen fitness, strolling and recreation, sightseeing experience and ecological science popularization.

Overlooking the core landscape from the air, the scattered vegetation, brightly colored path and various leisure facilities intertwine to create a harmonious urban landscape.

Project manager Gu Hanli said that by incorporating various wild and ornamental vegetation, the entire landscape belt presents a colorful and lively landscape atmosphere. By increasing the coverage area of trees, a certain area of carbon sequestration forest can be formed to enhance the green protection function.

"I live near the landscape belt. Previously, this was a forest wasteland where people couldn't walk in. Now, it has been renovated very beautifully. The elderly can take a leisurely walk, children can play happily, and young people can enjoy the fun of sports," said a citizen surnamed Liu.
