As a leader in the field of filtration and thermal management and a pioneer in hydrogen mobility technology research and development, OFI Filters Group officially opened its first green technology industrial base in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province on Monday.

OFI Filters is a globally renowned supplier of filtration systems and solutions. It established Shanghai Sofima Automotive Filter Co Ltd in the Qingpu Industrial Park in 1996 and founded OFI Filters Ltd in 2004, exemplifying the successful development of an Italian enterprise in Qingpu.

In 2023, OFI Group set up a multinational corporate regional headquarters in Qingpu, further enhancing its capabilities in investment, settlement and research and development.

The newly opened green factory is the 21st factory of OFI Filters Group worldwide, covering an area of 42,000 square meters.

The new factory will develop and produce advanced thermal management systems and innovative filtration products suitable for electric vehicles, hydrogen energy, fuel cell technologies and industrial filtration, aiming to provide sustainable and efficient solutions for the automotive industry.

At full production capacity, the annual output of the factory will reach 9.4 million units, and the annual production capacity for innovative filtration media will reach 3 million square meters.
