The CBCQingpu Life Sciences Park is set to be officially operational in July,providinglife sciences enterprises with flexible, multifunctional spaces for research and development, production bases and headquarters offices.
Thepark is planned, constructed and managed by theCBCMedical Health Industry Facilities Platform,a life sciences infrastructure investment platform underCBC Group. The first phase covers an area of 84muwith a planned construction area of about 120,000 square meters.
The park is dedicated to attracting leading companies in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, enabling the transformation of leading scientific research results and the commercial development of products, thereby contributing to the creation of a life sciences industry ecosystem in Qingpu.
The park features nine high-standard factories and office buildings with a simple and modern exterior. Municipal landscaping has been completed, and interior decoration is in the final stages.
The park focuses on key industries such as biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare services. Currently, it has signed contracts with two leading domestic companies in related fields, with four more in discussions. In the future, it plans to bring in 10 to 15 leading domestic and international enterprises.
In recent years, Qingpu District has been actively developing the "1+2+X" biopharmaceutical industry layout, gathering a group of traditional Chinese medicine companies represented by Baolong Pharmaceuticals, biotech companies represented bySerumBio-technology, and medical device companies represented by ChenGuang Medical.
