In Dongtian Village, Liantang Town, the opening of over 170 mu of dense forest has created a "walkable oasis" that not only provides a place for leisure and exercise for the surrounding villagers but also offers a space for city residents and tourists to enjoy weekend outings and a "natural air-conditioner."

Stepping into the newly developed open forest of Dongtian Village, one finds a lush and diverse array of flora including camphor trees, bald cypresses, blue salvia and foxtail grass.

Newly constructed trails in blue, green and red wind through the area, complemented by amenities such as resting seats, viewing platforms, scenic pergolas maps and lighting facilities.

"Entering this forest, it feels like being in a 'natural oxygen bar.' It's refreshing and delightful," said a woman surnamed Re enthusiastically as she walked and captured the picturesque scenery on her phone.

According to a staff member from the town's Agricultural and Rural Service Center, the forest resources in this plot are excellent, located near village homes and water, with pleasant scenery, although it was previously enclosed by fencing. To transform this area, Liantang Town has upgraded it from a single-function ecological forest to an accessible green recreational space by preserving the original tree structures, adding new greenery and enhancing the landscape and infrastructure.
