Huawei names its Qingpu project Lianqiu Lake R&D Center Release time:July 16,2024
The Huawei Qingpu project has been completed and this hub of research and innovation has been officially named the Huawei LianqiuLakeR&D Center.
As Huawei's largest and most heavily invested R&D base globally, the completion of the LianqiuLakeR&D Center marks another milestone in Huawei's technological innovation and industrial upgrading.
Located in the Xicen Community of Jinze Town, the LianqiuLakeR&D Center covers an area of 2,400 mu with a total construction area of 2.06 million square meters and a total investment of over10billionyuan (US$1.38 billion).
The R&D center,expected to officially start operations this year,integrates offices, research and development, incubation and production services, aiming to build a diversified industrial community.
Centered around Lianqiu Lake, the R&D center features seven distinct architectural clusters, including aplazatown,urbanblocks,hilltopsettlements,a foresttown,collegecampuses,urbanaxis anda watertown.
These areas are interconnected by convenientsmalltrains and scenic routes, forming both an independent and closely linked ecological network. The park’s bridge projects, such as the Moon Bridge, Rainbow Bridge and Arch Bridge, are in the final stages of completion, and LianqiuLakehas begun to store water.
In the future, this site will become a core node in Huawei's global R&D network, attracting top talent, nurturing cutting-edge technologies and helping Huawei achieve greater breakthroughs in key technological fields such as 5G, cloud computing and artificial intelligence, contributing to the advancement of the global technology industry.
