In the Shanghai Cultural Film and Television Technology Industry Cluster, Shushi Qidian Media Technologyhas unveiled a cutting-edge smart technology — the 3Ddigitalholographicimagingpod. This device offers users realistic three-dimensional images and an interactive immersive experience.

Compared to traditional 2D products, thedigitalholographicimagingpod can accurately replicate the three-dimensional effect of people or objects. Users do not need to wear 3D glasses or any related equipment. By simply standing in a designated capture area to collect their image and movements, they can generate a personalized digital twin within the pod. After creating their digital twin, users can interact and take photos with their "digital person."

"It is portable and does not require wearing 3D glasses or VR equipment. It utilizes eye-visible naked-eye 3D holographic technology,” saidDai Yinan, the head of ShushiQidian Media Technology.

"We have already deployed these devices in some Shanghai subway stations. Next, we plan to expand into large shopping malls, airports, tourist attractions, exhibitions and government halls. It will serve as an excellent advertising medium. It allows for real-time interaction with users, supports answering questionsand facilitates remote holographic meetings, making its application scenarios very broad,"Dai added.
