New Liantang Station handles first Spring Festival return rush Release time:February 06,2025

As the Spring Festival holiday comesto a close, LiantangRailwayStation, an important transportation hub in the Yangtze River Delta integration,welcomedits first return travel rush during the Spring Festival travel season. The station implemented measures to facilitate convenient travel, ensuring passengers a safe and orderly journey.

At Liantang Station, passengers enteredand checkedticketsin orderunder the guidance of staff. "The entire trip was very smooth. The signs in the station are clear, and the staff were very helpful, providing me with great assistance. I live in ZhujiajiaoTown, and since Liantang Station opened, it has been very convenient for the residents ofWestQingpu," said passenger Xu Qian.

Many passengers noted that this newly built station not only offers diverse options but also significantly reduces travel time between regions.

Passenger Liu Xujing, who frequently travels between Guangdein Anhui Provinceand Liantang,said:"Since Liantang Station was built, travel has become very convenient. Previously, I had to go to Shanghai Hongqiao Station first and then take public transportation back to Liantang, which took at least half a day. Now, it takes just over an hour from Guangde to Liantang."

Passenger Yan Zhanyi, from Luoyang, HenanProvince, works in Liantang Town. With the opening of Liantang Station, he no longer needs to transfer at the Hongqiao hub and can reach his workplace directly.

"I travel from Luoyang Longmen directly to Liantang. Before the station opened, I had to go to Hongqiao, then take the subway to Zhujiajiao, and finally transfer to a bus to Liantang. Now it's much more convenient, saving about three hours,"he said.

During the Spring Festival travel season, 20 trains stopped at Liantang Stationevery day. To handle the return travel rush, Liantang Station prepared in advance, optimizing security checks and ticketing processes to ensure quick passage for passengers.
