The Chonggu sectionof thedemonstration line and the Beiqing Highway expansion project, key initiatives forChonggu Town this year, are progressing steadily, playingasignificantrole inimproving the regional transportation network and enhancing the town's functional layout.

Once theZhaochong Road Station on the demonstration line is completed, it will offer residents a new option for fast, high-capacity rail transit. This station will provide convenient direct access to the Hongqiao Hub and the core areas of the Yangtze River Delta Integration Demonstration Zone, significantly reducing travel time.

Meanwhile, Beiqing Highway will be expanded from a four-lane to an eight-lane road, greatly alleviating previous traffic congestion issues.

Together, these projects will not only ensure smoother internal traffic withinChonggu Town but also strengthen connections with surrounding areas, creating a more comprehensive transportation network.

The transportation advantages of the Zhaochong Road Station will facilitate easier interaction betweenChonggu and surrounding industries, attractingmore high-quality enterprises. This year, theChonggu HongqiaoBoundlessInnovation City has successfully signed agreements with 10 industrial projects, including Cainiao Supply Chain, Liando U Valley, and Premier Park.

Additionally, the TOD (transit-orienteddevelopment)projectfor the Zhaochong Road Station, coveringabout190,000 square meters, is being actively advanced. Supporting facilities such as commercial, medical, and educational services are being gradually implemented, significantly enhancing the area's commercial service capacity.

The Shanghai segment of the demonstration line spans 52.4 kilometers, with a total of 10 stations. Trains will operate at a maximum speed of 160 km/h, with opening expected by 2028. Once operational, it will form a rapid transit framework connecting Shanghai's main urban area, Qingpu New Town, and regions like Jiashanin Zhejiang Provinceand Wujiangi Jiangsu Province.

According to the construction plan, the substructure construction for Qingpu New Town South Station, Xule RoadN.Station, and Zhaochong Road Station is expected to begin in the third quarter of this year, with completion in the fourth quarter.
