Qingpu unveils new fashion dynamics at POP Fashion Week Release time:March 13,2025

The 2025 Shanghai Fashion Season and "POP Fashion Week" kicked off on March 11 at POP Fashion Hub in Qingpu District.

This fashion week coincides with the 2025 Spring International Clothing&AccessoriesFair, aiming to showcase Qingpu's new fashion vitality and cultivate new momentum in the regional fashion consumer industry to over 300 domestic and international exhibiting companies.

According to a Qingpu District official, from nurturing new fashion consumption models to innovating the "exhibition + industry" approach, this permanent show venue in the Yangtze River Delta will further help Qingpu amplify the "spillover effect" of the China International Import Expo.

During the event, Qingpu launched a series of industry investment promotions and established a high-end fashion industry think tank platform. It also held a joint release show featuring works by "GoldenNeedleAward" designers (China's highest designer accolade) and new products from Qingpu fashion brands like DongLong. Meanwhile, the 2026 Spring/Summer fashion trend new products were also released on-site.

In recent years, Qingpu District has focused on cultivating and expanding trillion-yuan industry clusters in modern logistics, high-end equipment manufacturing, and new-generation information technology. In the key fashion sector, Qingpu has already attracted a number of outstanding enterprises.

During this POP Fashion Week, theChinese People’sPolitical Consultative ConferenceQingpu District Committeecollaborated with institutions like Donghua University to support cultural and creative units such as the Dongmao Village Traditional Cloth Dyeing and Weaving Craft Institute.

They integrated Qingpu's intangible cultural heritage elements into the design ofguochao(China-chic)products, effectively promoting the fusion of intangible heritage with the fashion consumer industry. Facilitated by POP Fashion Hub, Dongmao Village's traditional cloth products have successfully made their debut on the international fashion week stage.
