The large wetland and wetland complex project in Qingxi CountrysidePark has recently been completed.

Located within Qingxi CountrysidePark in Jinze Town, the project encompasses multiple initiatives, including the conversion of fishponds back into wetlands, ecological restoration, boardwalk construction, and the development of a wetland complex.

Through the fishpond-to-wetland conversion, the project has transformed existing aquaculture ponds by introducing purified water from Dalian Lake before discharging it into surrounding water systems, effectively reducing pollution from fish farming.

Additionally, by reshaping the terrain, creating habitats, and incorporating landscape design, the project has established an ecologically vibrant wetland that supports diverse species, improves regional water quality, protects biodiversity, and maintains ecosystem balance.

Building on this foundation, the project centers on wetland education while integrating themed attractions and interconnected sightseeing routes, positioning itself as a comprehensive destination for leisure, tourism, and learning.

Upon completion, the project will further enhance Qingxipark’s recreational offerings, shifting its focus from "light outdoor excursions" to "in-depth ecological tourism in the Yangtze River Delta."
