Qingpu delegation visits Brazil to explore business cooperation deals Release time:October 29,2025

AQingpu District government delegation led by DistrictDirectorJin Xiaoming visited Brazil for a series of city promotion and investment attraction eventsfrom October 19 to 24, aiming to deepen Sino-Brazilian local cooperation and support high-quality enterprises in global expansion.

The Shanghai Qingpu Investment Promotion Conference was held in São Paulo, where Jin highlighted that Qingpu is capitalizing on multiple strategic opportunities,including the China International Import Expo, the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Demonstration Zone, the Hongqiao International Open Hub, and the new city construction,to build itself into aninnovationhub of the Yangtze River Delta. He introduced Qingpu’s locational strengths, industrial policies, business environment, innovation ecosystem, and livability, inviting Brazilian companies to invest in Qingpu for mutual benefit.

During the conference, QingpuWest Hongqiao Company signed landing agreements with three Brazilian companies planning to establish a presence inWest Hongqiao, and J&T Express signed a cooperation agreement with its Brazilian partner,securing multiple tangible outcomes.

The delegation also visited the Brazil-China Economic and Trade Exchange Center, where Jin presided over asymposiumwithChineseentrepreneursin Brazil. He expressed hope to establish a regular communication mechanism with the center and jointly support the construction of Qingpu’s Enterprise Global Service Center.

In addition, the Qingpu delegation visited the municipal government of Campinas, known as the "Silicon Valley of Brazil." Jin informed Campinas Mayor Dario Saadi that Qingpu has gathered a large number of regional headquarters of multinational corporations, foreign-funded R&D centers, and Fortune 500 companies. He noted that more than 60 Brazilian companies will participate in theeighth CIIE opening on November 5, with their total exhibition area increasing by over 20percentcompared to the previous edition. Qingpu will use this visit as a starting point to deepen cooperation with Campinas in scientific and technological innovation, education and culture, trade, and youth exchanges, jointly elevating subnational collaboration between China and Brazil.

The delegation also visited leading organizations including the Huawei Brazil Technology Center, J&T Express Brazil Headquarters, and the Brazilian Foreign Trade Association to gain insight into the development of Qingpu-based enterprises operating in Brazil.
