Qingpu launches Huawei-ecosystem tech firm to boost domestic computing Release time:December 11,2025

Shanghai Hubaixin Information Technology Co Ltd, invested by Shanxi-based Baixin Information Technology Co Ltd, was established in Qingpu District on December 10.

Leveraging Huawei's core technology ecosystem, the new company will focus on the research, development, and manufacturing of domestically produced computers, general-purpose servers, AI servers, and edge industrial control equipment. It aims to capitalize on the spillover effects from Huawei's Lianqiu Lake R&D Center and the HiSilicon ecosystem, addressing the gap in Shanghai's integrated machine manufacturing within Huawei's core technology framework.

The firm is positioned to become a comprehensive R&D enterprise with international characteristics, specializing in AI terminals, computing power, and IT application innovation integrated machines, offering a "Shanghai solution" to support national technological self-reliance and strength.

In a related development, Qingpu Industrial Park, Shanghai Hubaixin Information Technology Co Ltd, and DeSmart Information Technology Co Ltd signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish the Qingpu Baixin IT Innovation Industrial Park. This initiative further solidifies the foundation for the clustering and ecosystem development of Shanghai's IT innovation industry. A group of enterprises in the industry signed agreements to settle in the new industrial park at the launching ceremony.

During a subsequent seminar on IT innovation industry development, Qingpu District Director Jin Xiaoming said as a hub connecting Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, Qingpu is positioning itself as the "first stop for Yangtze River Delta enterprises entering Shanghai and expanding globally." The district is establishing a tri-integrated enterprise service center to provide one-stop services for businesses, talent, and international expansion.
