From December 25 to 28, the 2025 Yangtze River Delta Sailing Finals (Shanghai Station) and the 2025 Shanghai Youth Sailing League (Winter Race) are taking placeon Dianshan Lake at the Shanghai Water Sports Center.

As a benchmark mass sailing event in the Yangtze River Delta region held for three consecutive years, this year's competition attracted 31 J80-class boat teams and 112 young sailors. Participants came not only from across the Yangtze River Delta but also from countries such as South Korea, Singapore, and Russia.

The event featured two main categories: the Open Group and the Women's Group. On the water, seasoned veterans who have long been dedicated to the sport competed alongside a new generation of young talent making their mark.

Serving as the event's ambassador, Olympic sailing champion Xu Lijia has been involved since the inaugural edition. "The charm of sailing lies not only in the moment of crossing the finish line but also in the process of conversing with the wind and battling the waves. I hope everyone will try different boat types and bravely enjoy the entire journey of sailing," she said.
