‘Qingpu Speed’: Semiconductor project advances from land deal to permit in 10 days Release time:January 21,2026
Shanghai Precision Measurement Semiconductor Technology, Inc,a leader in the field of semiconductor inspection equipment, broke ground on its new R&D headquarters and equipment manufacturing base in theShixiSoftware Information Parkon January 16.
Since establishing itself in the park in 2018, ShanghaiPrecision Measurementhas consistently focused on the research and development of semiconductor front-end process measurement technology. Leveraging domestically leading technologies such as electron beam imaging and spectral analysis measurement, it has become a key force in addressing gaps in Shanghai's integrated circuit inspection and testing sector.
The newly launched project covers 26.8 mu (1.79 hectares) with a total investment exceeding 300 million yuan(US$43.10 million). Upon completion, it will form a comprehensive base integrating R&D, production, and experimentation.
The company's rapid progress in launching this project was facilitated by the park's precise support services. From land transfer to obtaining construction permits, the park collaborated with approval departmentstoadvancethe process efficiently through innovative models like parallel approvals.
The project took only 10 days from signing the land transfer contract to obtaining the construction permit, once again showcasing the "Qingpu Speed" andprecision services for industrial project implementation.
