A total of 50 locations, including three in Qingpu District, have been selected as the first batch of Shanghai's community attractions.

The initiative was launched by the ShanghaiMunicipalAdministration of Culture and Tourism to further enhance the quality and cultural connotations of community tourism, promote the upgrade of great places at doorway, and discover and create a number of community tourism demonstration sites that combine warmth of life with tourism appeal.

Shanghai Qushui Garden

Shanghai Qushui Garden is one of the five classical gardens in Shanghai. First built in the 10th year of the Qianlong reign(1745), the garden covers nearly 30 mu of land(2 hectaresapproximately). Renowned for its elegant, understated beauty and historic charm, Qushui Garden is particularly celebrated for its water features. Since it began offering free admission in August 2022, it has become an important place for residents, tourists, and visitors to relax and enjoy cultural activities.

Shanghai Qingpu Loop Waterside Park

Shanghai Qingpu Loop Waterside Park is popular among local residents since its opening. The project covers a total area of approximately 1.5 million square meters, including 31 newly built bridges, 3,000 mu of waterfront open space, and about 43 kilometers of waterfront greenways forming inner and outer loops.

It also features 35 new recreational and sports venues, cycling paths, walking trails, 18 piers, six tea houses, and 17 service stations. The park has restored the water city gate from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and created Qingxi Garden and Zhidao Academy around the Wanshou Pagoda.

Hemu Village

Locatedto theeast of Qingpu Bailian Outlets Plaza, Hemu Village is known as the "backyard garden of Outlets."

It is a rural revitalization demonstration project jointly developed by Hemu Village and the Hodo Group, based on the residential buildings along both sides of the Xujing River. The village passed the evaluation as a municipal-level rural revitalization demonstration village in 2021.

After nearly two years of investment promotion and operation, it has become a populardestinationfor nearby residents to relax and enjoy leisure activities.
