Shanghai Electric's new testing platform for intelligent transmission and distribution equipment in modern power systemshas kicked offconstruction in QingpuDistrict.

Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Group has long been deeply engaged in high-voltage apparatus testing. Its subsidiary, Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Test Center Co Ltd stands as one of the pioneers and authoritative institutions in China's high-voltage apparatus testing sector, possessing comprehensive testing capabilities covering over 50 categories of transmission and distribution products.

In 2016, the first phase of the Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Test Center landed in Qingpu. The decision to once again choose Qingpu for the second-phase project reflects the company's strong recognition of the district's development environment and potential, highlighting the powerful "magnetic effect" of regional industrial agglomeration.

This project represents a strategic expansion initiative. Upon completion, it will achieve full coverage of testing capabilities across the 20Hz to 60Hz frequency range and up to 252kV voltage levels, further cementing its industry benchmark position in the high-end transmission and distribution testing sector.
