Poland Week launches in Qingpu for deeper China-Poland economic ties Release time:April 17,2026
The first event of the “Hongqiao Go Global Week2026” series, the Poland Week, is currently underway in Qingpu, focusing on Poland’s policy advantages, industrial opportunities, and investment climate.
The event provides a comprehensive one-stop service platform for manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region seeking efficient access tocentral andeastern European markets.Nearly 100 companies interested in expanding into Poland attended the event.
In his opening address, Adam Bralczyk,consulgeneral of Poland in Shanghai, noted that Poland, with a population of nearly 40 million, is the fifth-largest consumer market in Europe.He saidPoland warmly welcomes Chinese companies to invest and do business, expressing hope that the event would further deepen China-Poland economic cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win results.
Wojciech Tyborowski,director ofInvest inPomerania, presented the region’s investment environment and development opportunities.
Wang Ping,chairwoman of Longyuan Tiance, theoperator of thegovernment-backedCIPAOverseasServicePlatform, said that the “Hongqiao Go Global Week” series will deeply collaborate with foreign consulates in China and overseas professional service resources. Focusing on key markets such as Southeast Asia and Europe, the series of country-themed weeks will provide end-to-end support for enterprises,from market research and policy interpretation to on-ground implementation.
Dr. You Deliang,chiefrepresentative of the China Desk at the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, highlighted Poland’s strategic location at the crossroads of Europe. Approximately 90percentof China-Europe railway freight passes through or terminates in Poland, and trucks can reach major consumer markets such as Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the UnitedKingdomwithin 48 hours, cementing Poland’s role as a logistics hub for the continent. Poland is also Europe’s largest production hub for power batteries, with solid foundations in new energy vehicles, home appliances, aviation, biotechnology, and software outsourcing,naturally complementing the strengths of the Yangtze River Delta region.
During the event, six Polish industrial parks joined the CIPA platform. Meanwhile, the China Enterprises GoingPoland ServiceStationwas launched. Thestationwill bring together experienced Polish service providers, legal and tax experts, and industrial park representatives to provide Chinese companies with full-process services covering policy interpretation, on-ground implementation, and risk management.
