This May Day holiday, the “BestJiangnan” 2026 Qingpu Coffee Carnival will immerse visitors in ZhujiajiaoTown, offering a unique blend of “coffee in one hand, Jiangnan in the other.”

More than 60 coffee brandswillgather by Dadian Lake, ranging from artisanal pourovers and creative specials to Yunnan Dehong singleorigin beans, espresso, and cold brew.

This year’s carnival also features a major collaboration with the Shanghai Auto Culture Festival. Vintage classic cars will drive into the ancient town, while BABYCAR themed coffee trucks will make a stylish appearance.

On the lakeside lawn, the Yunnan Dehong song and dance troupe will present authentic Dai ethnic performances. Enjoying an iced coffee while experiencing the cool refreshment of a watersplashing celebration promises to be a uniquejoyof the holiday.

Pet owners are welcome to bring their furry friends. The market is petfriendly, with canopy seating on the lawn. Grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and feel the lake breeze — as relaxing as camping.

Beyond coffee, the market offers a wide variety of food, from traditional Jiangnan snacks to trendy treats, including Grandma’s zongzi (glutinous rice dumplings), braised porkwrapped in bamboo husks, crabapple cakes, and smoked green beans.

Subway (recommended): Take Line 17 to Zhujiajiao Station, Exit 1. It’s a 15minute walk to the ancient town, or you can transfer to a bus directly to Dadian Lake Lawn.

Driving: Navigate to “Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Parking Lot” or “Dadian Lake Lawn.” Parking spaces are limited during the May Day holiday. Arrive early and follow the instructions of onsite security staff for orderly parking.
