Shanghai West Software Information Park incubator set for September finish Release time:June 02,2026
The incubation center of Shanghai West Software Information Parkin Zhaoxiang Town, Qingpu District, is expected tocomplete constructionby September.
The project aims to become a new benchmark for Qingpu’s digital industry development and inject strong momentum into the region’s digital economy transformation and upgrading.
The incubation center, with a total investment of 1.084 billion yuan (US$160.36million), is designated for educational and scientific research use. Covering a total floor area of 98,150 square meters, it consists of nine buildings forming a well-organized, unified industrial architecture cluster.
The project adopts “flowing clouds and water” as its core design philosophy, focusing on creating a distinctive landmark and characteristic public spaces. Leveraging the existing river landscape on the site, it deeply integrates natural ecological scenery with industrial and residential environments to build an ecological, modern industrial office setting.
The incubation center will concentrate on three core industrial directions – new-generation electronic information, chip design, and intelligent equipment – plus emerging fields. It is positioned to absorb the innovation resource spillover from the Hongqiao International Open Hub and Xicen Sci-Tech Innovation Center.
The center will build a full-chain sci-tech innovation service system covering “startup nursery – incubator – accelerator,” offering integrated services such as office and R&D spaces, pilot-scaletestacceleration, roadshow and matchmaking events, and investment and financing support. The goal is to create a benchmark digital industry hub that integrates technology R&D, achievement commercialization, enterprise incubation, and talent gathering.
Leveraging Qingpu’s core location advantages as part of the Yangtze River Delta Integration Demonstration Zone, the incubation center is close to Metro Line 17, providing rapid access to the Hongqiao hub and connecting to the Yangtze River Delta innovation resource network.
